Tomorrow I make the journey to my beloved Haiti. I am both nerves and excited for what is ahead of me. My emotions have been crazy the past week. But the good thing is we will be with them. Lots of bonding time is in store for us. All of this is in Gods timing. My trust and hope is in him. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Please keep us in your prayers.

  2. Hello! I googled Haiti adoption blogs and found you. We are in the final process of our adoption from Haiti. It was final in Haiti on 9/14/11. We are waiting on the approval of our I600 on the US side. They said it takes approximately 60-75 days. We are on day 43. I would love to get in touch and find out any additional information you may have. My email address is jenniferbradley96@yahoo.com. Thank you,Jennifer

  3. I got your blog link from a Haitian friend. I lived in Haiti for 2 years as an agricultural evangelist with the IMB after graduating from WKU. I now live in Northern Kentucky. I understand Haitian culture and Creole very well and have seen some of the struggles of adoption through other friends. Once your girls get home if you ever need anything from someone with a Haitian perspective I would be happy to help you out. I have some family in Bowling Green and friends in Scottsville. I kept a blog in Haiti it is www.lindseyinhaiti.blogspot.com if you want to see some of my Haitian experience. I was there 2004-2006 and made my first return visit this summer. You can email me at lindseysusan@hotmail.com. I added my email to follow your blog.
